Web Hosting

For the money and the more experienced webmaster, Hostgator is really the best service to use for web hosting, especially if you are hosting multiple sites. It's cheap at $7.95 per month and easy to use if you are familiar with ftp, html, php, etc. However, if you are just starting out, and really need some human contact to help support your hosting questions, Yahoo! Web Hosting is best of breed. It's dirt cheap (only $11.95 per month), free setup, and you only have to sign for a 3-month term. I used their service when I first started out and like it very much. But I moved on to HostGator when I found that I wanted to build multiple websites and would need a lot more bandwidth than I was using with Yahoo! hosting.
