This item is a very rare Soviet Medal named the Order of Alexander Nevsky. This particular medal was given to NAZAROV VASILIY PROKOFIEVICH and it is in perfect condition (per the seller). This award was first given in 1725 as an Imperial Order of St. Alexander Nevsky. The Soviet government stopped giving out the award in 1917, but decided to bring it back in 1942 as a way to honor distinguished soldiers during World War II.
